Will 2019 be your year to win?

The total prize pool for the 2019 Moran Contemporary Photographic Prize is $100,000 with the winner to be awarded $50,000 and each finalist $1,000.  School students can also enter with generous prizes for both winners and their schools.

So what does living in Australia mean to you?  We're looking for photographs of life in Australia; places, people and lifestyle that make our lovable country quintessentially Australian.  It may be a landscape, portrait or action shot but above all else tell a story of how you experience living in Australia.

Entries close 6 March 2019

Entry is easy. Photos must have been taken between 8 March 2018 and 6 March 2019.

All of us at the Albany Photographic Society

wish everyone a Happy New Year!

If one of your New Year's resolutions is to be more creative, photography is a great place to start. There are many ways to take photos these days, so much so, that even most phones will take an amazing snap. Most of us have a camera at our fingertips just waiting to be used.

Our first meeting of the year is in February on Wednesday the 20th at 7:30 pm (under the Stirling Club on Stirling Terrace). So why not come along and see what we are all about and let us motivate you through your photographic adventure. We can't wait to meet you and all of the amazing photos you'll take in 2019.
